How it works
Three steps, then you're done.
1
Drag in your files
Drop images, audio, or video onto the window — one file, a hundred, or a whole folder. Or press ⌘O to pick them, or ⌘V to paste from Finder.
2
Pick a format
Morphr suggests the right target for each file. Change one, or set the format for every image, audio, or video file at once. Tune quality, size, or bitrate if you like.
3
Convert
Hit Convert and everything runs in parallel, right on your Mac. Files are saved next to the originals or in a folder you choose — and Morphr shows you how much space you saved.
Features
Everything macOS conversion should be.
A focused, native app that does one thing exceptionally well — without ever sending your files to the cloud.
🖼️
Every common image
HEIC, JPG, PNG, WEBP, AVIF, TIFF, GIF and BMP — convert between any of them. iPhone HEIC photos become shareable JPGs in a click.
🎬
Video & audio too
MP4, MOV, MKV and WEBM for video; MP3, M4A, WAV, FLAC, AAC and OGG for audio. Pull the audio out of any video, or turn a clip into a GIF.
🔒
100% on your Mac
Nothing is uploaded — ever. No account, no cloud, no telemetry. Morphr makes no network connection and works perfectly offline.
⚡
Hybrid engine
macOS's own ImageIO reads HEIC with full fidelity; a bundled FFmpeg handles everything else. Best-in-class quality, with nothing extra to install.
📦
Batch a whole folder
Drop dozens of files and convert them all at once, in parallel. Each file can keep its own target format and settings.
🎚️
Fine control
Quality sliders, resize, video bitrate, and GIF frame-rate & width — set globally or per individual file from a tidy gear popover.
🍎
Signed & notarized
Opens with a normal double-click — no "unidentified developer" warning, no Open Anyway, no Terminal. Notarized by Apple.
No warnings
♿
Built for everyone
Full keyboard control, VoiceOver labels throughout, automatic light & dark, and reduced-motion support. WCAG-minded from the start.

FAQ
Common questions.
Is Morphr really free?
Personal use is free forever — all formats, no account, no trial timer, no watermarks. If you use Morphr at work, a one-time $19 business license per computer keeps it supported.
How does the business license work?
If you use Morphr commercially, buy a one-time $19 license per computer from the pricing section — secure checkout via Stripe, and your license key is emailed instantly. The personal tier is the full app with no nag screens, so you can evaluate it freely first.
Does Morphr upload my files anywhere?
No. Every conversion runs entirely on your Mac. Morphr makes no network connection and needs none — it works fully offline. Your files never leave your computer.
What can it convert?
Images (HEIC, JPG, PNG, WEBP, AVIF, TIFF, GIF, BMP), icons (ICNS, ICO), audio (MP3, M4A, WAV, FLAC, AAC, OGG), and video (MP4, MOV, MKV, WEBM). It can also extract the audio track from a video, or turn a clip into an animated GIF.
Why does it handle iPhone HEIC photos so well?
Morphr uses macOS's own ImageIO — the same engine Photos and Preview use — to read HEIC, so your iPhone photos convert with full fidelity. A bundled FFmpeg handles every other format.
Will macOS warn me about an unidentified developer?
No. Morphr is signed with an Apple Developer ID and notarized by Apple, so it opens with a normal double-click the first time — no Open Anyway dance, no Terminal.
How do I update Morphr?
Re-download the latest Morphr.dmg from this page, open it, and drag the new Morphr into your Applications folder — it replaces the old one. Your preferences carry over automatically.
Is there a Windows version?
Not yet — Morphr is Mac-only for now. It's built around macOS's native image pipeline, which is a big part of why HEIC conversion is so good.
