Privacy Policy
- Morphr runs entirely on your PC. Your files never leave your computer, and conversion is completely offline.
- No usage analytics, no accounts. Converting a file never touches the network.
- The only times Morphr contacts our servers: a weekly check for a new version (which we count, and which you can turn off; see “Update checks” below), or, if you buy and activate a business license, a check that the key is valid (payment itself is handled by Stripe; we never see your card number).
1. Who We Are
Morphr is made by twoplus11 LLC, a Missouri limited liability company (twoplus11.com). When this policy says "we," "us," or "our," it means twoplus11 LLC.

2. Data We Do Not Collect
Morphr is built to be completely private:
- Your files are yours. Every conversion runs locally on your PC. Nothing you open, convert, or save (and none of the file itself) is ever uploaded to us or anyone else.
- Converting is completely offline. The conversion engine (Pillow, pillow-heif and the bundled FFmpeg) never needs the internet, and for free personal use there is no key and no validation. The only request Morphr makes to us is the update check described below.
- No usage analytics. The app does not report how you use it or track what you convert.
- No accounts for personal use. Personal use needs no sign-up and no key. (Business-license validation is the one exception; see the next section.)
- Only the files you hand it. Morphr reads the files you drop, open or paste in, and, when you drop a folder, everything inside it including its subfolders. It writes converted files next to each original or in the folder you pick. With Replace selected it will overwrite a file already at that name in the destination, but never one you put in the queue as a source. It does not scan your disk, and none of it involves us.
3. Data We Do Collect
Update checks. Morphr checks whether a newer version exists: automatically about once a week, and whenever you check manually. You can switch the automatic check off. The request goes to api.twoplus11.com and identifies the app and the version you are running; like any web request, it also carries your IP address. We record that the check happened, with a one-way daily hash of that address rather than the address itself, together with the browser-style identifier your PC sends with any web request, so we can count how many installs are active. It says nothing about your files. If you go on to install the update, Morphr downloads the installer and verifies its Authenticode signature and version before running it.
Business-license purchases. If you buy a Business License, you enter your company name, work email, and number of computers in our checkout form. We receive your company name and email so we can deliver your license key and keep a record of the purchase. Payment is processed by Stripe: your card details go straight to Stripe, and we never see or store them.
License validation. When you activate a business license key, Morphr sends the license key and a one-way hash of a Windows machine identifier (a truncated SHA-256 that cannot be reversed) to our licensing server to verify the license, along with the device name you choose to show so you can tell your own computers apart when managing seats. We never receive anything about your files or what you convert. These requests are hosted on Microsoft Azure, which may keep standard server access logs (such as IP address) for security and operational purposes. Personal use makes none of these requests.
4. Where Morphr Stores Things on Your PC
Everything Morphr saves stays inside your own Windows user account, and none of it is transmitted:
- Preferences (your output folder, quality and resize settings, language, theme and window size) in
%APPDATA%\Morphr. - Your business license key and its cached validation result, if you have one, in your user profile folder. The cache exists so the app keeps working for up to 72 hours without a network connection.
- The application itself in
%LOCALAPPDATA%\Programs\Morphr, or inC:\Program Files\Morphrif you chose to install it for everyone who uses the PC.
Uninstalling removes the application. If you want every trace gone, delete the two folders above as well.
5. If You Contact Us
If you email us (for support, beta feedback, or a question about your business license), we receive your email address and whatever you choose to put in your message. If you submit our report form and attach a screenshot, we receive that too. We use this information only to reply to you and to fix the problem. We do not sell or share it.
6. Downloading the App
Morphr is downloaded from our website, which is hosted by a third-party web host. Like any website, the host may keep standard server access logs (such as IP address) for security and operational purposes. This happens at the web-server level when you visit the download page. The Morphr application itself does not transmit anything.
7. Children's Privacy
Morphr is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
8. Your Rights
If you are in the European Union, United Kingdom, or California, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you. The only personal data we hold is what you send us by email and, for business-license holders, the company name and email tied to your purchase. You can exercise these rights by contacting jeremy@twoplus11.com. We will respond within 30 days. Deleting your business-license record will deactivate the license.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the "Effective date" at the top of this page when we do. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
