Terms of Service
1. Agreement to Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Viddlr for Windows, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use Viddlr.
These Terms form a legal agreement between you and twoplus11 LLC, a Missouri limited liability company ("we," "us," or "our").
2. The Application
Viddlr is a Windows application for downloading video and audio content from the internet (YouTube, TikTok, Vimeo, Twitch and 1,800+ other sites) with automatic removal of sponsor segments via the SponsorBlock community database. It is powered by yt-dlp and ffmpeg and distributed from twoplus11.com/viddlr/windows.
3. Beta Software
THIS IS A PRE-RELEASE ("BETA") BUILD OF GRABBR FOR WINDOWS, MADE AVAILABLE FOR EVALUATION AND TESTING. IT MAY CONTAIN DEFECTS AND MAY BEHAVE UNEXPECTEDLY. WE MAY CHANGE, SUSPEND, OR WITHDRAW THE BETA AT ANY TIME.
Feedback you send us about the beta may be used to improve Viddlr without restriction or obligation to you.
4. License
Personal License (Free)
We grant you a free, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use Viddlr on your personal computers for non-commercial purposes. Personal use means use by an individual for personal, non-revenue-generating activities. The personal tier is the complete application. There are no locked features, trial timers, or watermarks.
Commercial Use (Free)
If you use Viddlr in connection with any business, employment, commercial, or revenue-generating activity, you must purchase a Business License for each computer on which Viddlr is installed. A Business License covers one computer for the lifetime of the software, and the same key is valid for both the Windows and macOS builds. You may purchase a Business License at twoplus11.com/viddlr/windows/#pricing.
Your license is personal and non-transferable. You may not transfer, sublicense, or assign it to another person or entity.
5. Your Responsibilities
Copyright and platform compliance
Viddlr is a general-purpose download tool. You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of Viddlr complies with:
- All applicable laws and regulations, including copyright law
- The terms of service of any platform from which you download content
- Any applicable Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) obligations
Downloading copyrighted content without authorization from the copyright holder may be illegal. We do not condone or facilitate copyright infringement.
No affiliation
Viddlr is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or partnered with YouTube, TikTok, Vimeo, Instagram, Twitch, or any other platform it can download from. All trademarks belong to their respective owners.
6. Restrictions
You agree not to:
- Use Viddlr to infringe any third party's copyright, privacy, or other rights
- Distribute, sell, rent, lease, or sublicense Viddlr to any third party
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble Viddlr's proprietary components, except where expressly permitted by applicable law
- Remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices
- Use Viddlr for any illegal purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
7. Third-Party Components
Viddlr bundles the following open-source tools as separate executables inside the application:
- yt-dlp: released under the Unlicense. Source: github.com/yt-dlp/yt-dlp
- FFmpeg: licensed under the GNU General Public License v3.0 (GPLv3). Source: ffmpeg.org
Viddlr also uses the Microsoft Edge WebView2 Runtime to draw its interface, a Microsoft component governed by Microsoft's own terms, and bundles the pywebview library under its own permissive license. These tools are included for your convenience; their use is governed by their respective licenses, the full texts of which ship inside the application. We are not responsible for the behavior of these third-party tools. Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under those licenses.
8. Intellectual Property
Viddlr's application code, design, and all associated intellectual property rights (excluding the third-party components described above) are owned by twoplus11 LLC. These Terms do not transfer ownership of the application. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
9. Updates and Availability
We may release updates to Viddlr that add features, fix bugs, or change behavior. Updates are free for the lifetime of your license. Viddlr checks for updates periodically and tells you when one exists; nothing is downloaded or installed without the check completing its signature and version verification, and you can turn the automatic check off entirely in the app. We reserve the right to discontinue Viddlr at any time without notice, though existing installations will remain functional.
10. Payments and Refunds
Business License purchases are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your full card details. Your license key is emailed to you immediately after payment. All sales are final. If you experience a technical issue that prevents Viddlr from working on your machine, contact us at jeremy@twoplus11.com and we'll work to resolve it or issue a refund at our discretion.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
GRABBR IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT GRABBR WILL BE ERROR-FREE, UNINTERRUPTED, OR THAT IT WILL SUCCESSFULLY DOWNLOAD ANY PARTICULAR CONTENT. SOURCE SITES CHANGE WITHOUT NOTICE AND CAN BREAK EXTRACTION AT ANY TIME.
12. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, TWOPLUS11 LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR LOSS OF GOODWILL. OUR TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF GRABBR SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR YOUR LICENSE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) FIFTY DOLLARS ($50 USD).
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Missouri, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Missouri.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. We will update the "Effective date" at the top of this page. Your continued use of Viddlr after any revision constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
