1. Agreement to Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Viddl, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use Viddl.
These Terms form a legal agreement between you and Jeremy Harris, operating as twoplus11 ("we," "us," or "our").
2. The Application
Viddl is a macOS application for downloading video content from the internet. It is powered by yt-dlp and distributed from twoplus11.com/viddl.
3. License
Personal License (Free)
We grant you a free, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use Viddl on your personal computers for non-commercial purposes. Personal use means use by an individual for personal, non-revenue-generating activities.
Business License ($29 per computer, one-time)
If you use Viddl in connection with any business, employment, commercial, or revenue-generating activity, you must purchase a Business License for each computer on which Viddl is installed. A Business License covers one computer for the lifetime of the software. You may purchase a Business License at twoplus11.com/viddl/#pricing.
Your license is personal and non-transferable. You may not transfer, sublicense, or assign it to another person or entity.
4. Your Responsibilities
Copyright and platform compliance
Viddl is a general-purpose download tool. You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of Viddl complies with:
- All applicable laws and regulations, including copyright law
- The terms of service of any platform from which you download content
- Any applicable Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) obligations
Downloading copyrighted content without authorization from the copyright holder may be illegal. We do not condone or facilitate copyright infringement.
No affiliation
Viddl is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or partnered with YouTube, TikTok, Vimeo, Instagram, Twitch, or any other platform. All trademarks belong to their respective owners.
5. Restrictions
You agree not to:
- Use Viddl to infringe any third party's copyright, privacy, or other rights
- Distribute, sell, rent, lease, or sublicense Viddl to any third party
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble Viddl's proprietary components
- Remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices
- Use Viddl for any illegal purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
6. Third-Party Components
Viddl bundles the following open-source tools:
- yt-dlp — released under the Unlicense. Source: github.com/yt-dlp/yt-dlp
- FFmpeg — licensed under the GNU General Public License v3.0 (GPLv3). Full license text ships inside the application bundle at

These tools are included for your convenience. Their use is governed by their respective licenses. We are not responsible for the behavior of these third-party tools.
7. Intellectual Property
Viddl's application code, design, and all associated intellectual property rights are owned by Jeremy Harris / twoplus11. These Terms do not transfer ownership of the application. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
8. Updates and Availability
We may release updates to Viddl that add features, fix bugs, or change behavior. Updates are free for the lifetime of your license. We reserve the right to discontinue Viddl at any time without notice, though existing downloads will remain functional.
9. Payments and Refunds
Business License purchases are processed by Stripe. All sales are final. If you experience a technical issue preventing the app from working on your machine, contact us at support@viddl.twoplus11.com and we'll work to resolve it or issue a refund at our discretion.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
VIDDL IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT VIDDL WILL BE ERROR-FREE, UNINTERRUPTED, OR THAT IT WILL SUCCESSFULLY DOWNLOAD ANY PARTICULAR CONTENT.
11. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, JEREMY HARRIS / TWOPLUS11 SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA OR LOSS OF PROFITS. OUR TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF VIDDL SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR YOUR LICENSE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) FIFTY DOLLARS ($50 USD).
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Missouri, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Missouri.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. We will update the "Effective date" at the top of this page. Your continued use of Viddl after any revision constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
