Changelog

Site update, October 11, 2026 · Aliasr is free for commercial use

• There is no longer a Business License to buy. Using Aliasr at work, on a work Mac, or for anything that earns money used to need a paid license. It does not any more: commercial use is free, on as many computers as you like, with no seat to count and no account to create. It is the same complete application either way, with no locked features, trial timers or watermarks.
• Section 3 of the terms grants that outright, under “Commercial Use (Free)”, and these pages have stopped quoting a price for it. Read the terms.
• No change to the app.

1.3.3 · October 16, 2026 · Free for everyone, and an ask that waits until you have come back

• There is no license to buy, and nothing to activate. Aliasr is free for everyone, for personal and for commercial use, so the Business License window, the key field and the activation step are gone from the app. Nothing is locked and nothing expires, and Aliasr no longer talks to a licensing server at all: the update check, which you can still switch off, is the only request it makes on its own.
• A Supporter section in Settings. If you have tipped and have a supporter key, entering it there shows a quiet “Supporter since” line. It is recognition and nothing else: nothing in Aliasr is locked, limited or changed by it. Checking a key sends the key and nothing else, when you enter it and at most once a day after, and with no key entered Aliasr makes no such request.
• The “Enjoying Aliasr?” question waits until you have really used it, and asks once. It used to arrive after five batches, which can be the first few minutes of owning the app, and choosing “later” bought only five more. There is now a single question after thirty batches across at least three separate days, then at widening intervals before it stops for good. Saying you like it offers a review or a tip; saying you do not takes you to the support form with your version and your macOS version already filled in.
• “Don’t ask again” survives an update, and updating does not restart the clock. An answer you already gave carries across, a long-standing user is not treated as a new install, and the other twoplus11 apps share the timer, so if one of them asked you something in the last month Aliasr stays quiet.

1.3.2 · September 30, 2026 · A Business License activates on any Mac

• Activating a Business License no longer fails with “Connection error”. Aliasr checks a license key with the twoplus11 license server over HTTPS, and it could only verify that server’s certificate on a Mac that had the python.org edition of Python installed, which most Macs do not. Everywhere else the check failed before it started, so activation said “Connection error” however many times you tried. Aliasr now verifies the server the way Safari does, with the certificates macOS itself trusts, including one your school or company has installed.
• The license key field shows the whole key. It showed only the last part of a key’s format, so a key could be typed without the RENAMR- it starts with and then be refused. It now shows the full format, RENAMR-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX.
• The Business License window is the one the other twoplus11 apps use.

Site update, September 23, 2026 · The privacy page now says update checks are counted

• Update checks are counted, and the privacy page now says so. When Aliasr checks for a new version, that request reaches our server and we record it: which app it was, the version it reported, the date, the user-agent string of the request, and a one-way hash of your IP address that is re-salted every day. We keep it for one reason: to count how many installs are still in use. The privacy page said the opposite in its summary; it now says this there as well as in its “Update checks” section.
• The earlier “no telemetry” wording was inaccurate. The entry below of August 12, 2026 says the line about there being no account and no telemetry “was accurate and is unchanged”. It was not accurate: the checks were already being counted when it was written. That entry is left as it stands, because it is a record of what was published on the day; this one corrects it.
• Nothing about your files changed, and nothing about them is sent. There is still no account, the automatic check can still be turned off, and Aliasr goes on working either way.
• No change to the app.

1.3.1 · September 14, 2026 · Runs on macOS 13 Ventura again

• Ventura is supported again. Aliasr now runs on macOS 13 Ventura and later, where it previously required macOS 14 Sonoma. Nothing in the app ever needed Sonoma: the floor came from the Python runtime bundled in at build time, which has been rebuilt against one targeting macOS 10.13 on Intel and 11.0 on Apple Silicon. Intel and Apple Silicon Macs are both supported, as before.

1.3.0 · September 8, 2026 · A Settings window, a menu bar, and a rename that survives being cut short

The biggest release since 1.0. Aliasr picks up the parts of a Mac app people look for without being told, and the rename itself was hardened against every way a batch can be interrupted.

• The update notice can only ever open a twoplus11.com page. When a new version exists, Aliasr offers a button that opens the download page, and which page that is was whatever the update server said it was. Nothing checked it, so a spoofed or compromised server could have pointed that button at any site it liked, wearing the credibility of a signed app. The address is now checked against the real host before anything opens, and a lookalike like twoplus11.com.example.net does not pass.
• New: a Settings window (⌘,). Appearance is System, Light or Dark, and Light and Dark hold whatever macOS is doing, so Aliasr can stay dark on a Mac that switches to light at sunrise. The choice is remembered, and it pins the window’s own chrome as well as the page. The language picker moved in here beside it, along with the automatic update check and an About section with the version, the app page, privacy and terms.
• New: a macOS menu bar. Settings, Check for Updates and License sit under the Aliasr menu; File carries Add files, Choose Folder, Copy new names, Show in Finder and Remove all; Help carries Aliasr Help, Keyboard shortcuts, Report a Problem, Leave a Review and What’s New. Every item runs the same thing the on-screen control runs, so a confirmation is never skipped by taking the menu route, and the menu bar follows the language picker instead of staying in the language the app launched in.
• New: a first-launch screen that says what Aliasr does before you have to guess. One screen, the glyph, one sentence, and how to begin. It is skippable and never appears again.
• New: Quick Look, a right-click menu, and Copy new names on the file list. Space previews the focused file the way Finder does. Right-click, or ⇧F10 on a focused row, opens that row’s actions: edit the name, Quick Look, show it in Finder, revert a hand-edit, remove it from the list. ⇧⌘C copies the New name column, one name per line, in the order shown.
• New: Finder can hand files to Aliasr. Right-click a selection and choose Open With, or drop it on the Dock icon. Files that arrive while Aliasr is still starting up wait for the window instead of disappearing.
• New: a big rename shows its progress, and the window remembers its size and where you put it. The Apply button fills as the batch is staged and counts the files as it goes, so a long run no longer looks like a frozen window. The saved size and position are clamped to the display the window will actually open on, so a size saved on a large monitor cannot open off the edge of a laptop screen.
• Changed: Rename from a list now pairs your names with the rows you can actually see. With a filter on, the dialog says how many of the rows are showing, and the names land on those. It used to send them to the first files of the whole unfiltered batch, which were files the filter was hiding, so nothing on screen changed.
• Changed: Undo reports what it actually put back, and Apply no longer refuses an entire batch over one file that has gone. Files deleted or moved in Finder since they were added are dropped from the list, named in a message, and the rest are renamed. A drop that adds nothing now says why, and deleting a saved preset asks first.
• Fixed: a folder name could run code inside the Aliasr window. A recent-folder chip and the preset list built their click handlers by pasting the name into the page as script, so a folder named with the right sequence of characters, all of them legal on a Mac, escaped the quoting and ran with the app’s own reach. Names are now carried as data and never compiled.
• Fixed: a rename cut short halfway could leave one file hidden and another with the wrong contents. Every file moves to a temporary name first and then to its new one, which is what makes a swap or a chain safe. If Aliasr was killed during that second half, the files already moved were sitting on the names the waiting ones needed, so the recovery on the next launch put nothing back. Recovery now reverses the moves that had landed and then restores the rest, and a rename that fails partway rolls back the same way, so a rollback can no longer land on top of a file that has not moved yet.
• Fixed: undoing an older batch before a newer one threw the older record away. Nothing was where that batch had left it, so nothing was reverted, and the record was deleted anyway. A record now keeps whatever it could not put back and stays in the history until every file on it is restored. A record that cannot be read says so in a sentence instead of quoting the parser, and stops being offered.
• Fixed: big batches got slow, and one rule could freeze the window. A rule that gives every file the same name used to make each clashing row list every other row it clashed with, so 2,000 photos collapsed onto one name sent four million names into the preview on every keystroke. A row now names six and says how many more there are. Typing in the filter box, walking the list with the arrow keys, Fix conflicts, and a photo import that reads dates out of the files were all rewritten to stop repeating work: the filter went from 48 seconds to 37 milliseconds on a list of 20,000 files.
• Fixed: long names in Japanese, Chinese and accented scripts were called invalid when the Mac accepts them. The 255 limit on a file name is counted by the filesystem in UTF-16 units, not in bytes, and Aliasr counted bytes, so a 100-character Japanese name was refused in the preview and Fix conflicts trimmed such names to a third of what the volume allows. The count matches the volume now.
• Fixed: a shipped build no longer lets the environment redirect the license check. The setting that points Aliasr at a local server for testing worked in the signed app too, so any process running as you could have set it and had the next activation send your key somewhere else. The built app ignores it now.
• Fixed: a damaged preferences file could delete every undo record, or report a failure over a rename that had happened. A file that is there but unreadable no longer counts as an empty history, and a value of the wrong type falls back to its default when the file is read.
• Accessibility: rule fields announce the label written next to them in all thirteen languages. The Add a rule menu opens with focus in it and answers the arrow keys, every dialog has a close button in its top right corner and closes on Esc, and the shortcuts panel lists ⇧F10 for the row menu.

Site update, August 30, 2026 · Buy several apps in one order

• One payment, as many apps as you need. The commercial license window on this page could sell exactly one thing: Aliasr. A team that also wanted two other twoplus11 apps paid three separate times, on three separate pages, and filed three separate receipts. That window now carries an Add another app control: search the catalog, set how many computers each app goes on, and pay once. Every app still gets its own license key, and they all arrive in the same email.
• Nothing changes if Aliasr is all you want. The window opens exactly as it did, at the same price, with the same count of computers, and an order for a single app takes the route through checkout it always has. The extra controls appear only once the app list has loaded, so a slow or unreachable connection leaves the page as it was.

1.2.1 · August 25, 2026 · The example on a rule card, and a key that survives a typo

• Fixed: every rule card opened showing Example … and nothing else. The line under a rule is meant to show that rule run against one of your files (IMG_0001.jpg → IMG_0001_01.jpg), so the card explains itself before you have added anything. It filled in the moment you touched any field, but at launch, with a rule stack restored from last time, it sat on the placeholder: the restored rules were drawn without ever being handed back to the part of Aliasr that computes the examples. A restored rule now arrives with its example already on it.
• Fixed: the example was cut off at both ends when it was long. A {date} template produces a name wider than the sidebar, and the line truncated the old name and the new one (IMG_000… → 2026-08-25 07.52.35IMG_…), which answered nothing. It now wraps, so the new name gets a full line to itself. Short rules still fit on one line, and the line is labeled EXAMPLE in every state, so a sample name cannot be mistaken for a rename you are about to apply.
• Fixed: entering a license key that the server rejected deleted the key you already had. Aliasr wrote the new key to disk and asked afterwards, so a typo (or a seat limit, or an expired key) ran the cleanup meant for a failed first activation and took the working key with it. Worse, if the server could not be reached at all, nothing was cleaned up and the good key was simply left overwritten by the typo, while the window reported personal use as though nothing had happened. Nothing is written now unless the server says yes: a reject, a timeout, a server error and being offline all leave the key on your Mac exactly as it was, and an unreachable server says so instead of calling your key invalid. Removing a license deliberately is still the Remove Business License button, which asks first.
• Fixed: three pieces of text sat below the contrast the guidelines ask for. The numbered badge on each rule card (white on the display accent, 3.47:1 in light and 1.99:1 in dark), the → between the old and new name in the file list (3.41:1), and the Drop to add label on the drag overlay (2.77:1). All three now use the tokens meant for text and clear AA in both light and dark. The badge on a switched-off rule was the worst of them and is now 6.81:1 / 8.77:1.

Site update, August 25, 2026 · A picture of Aliasr doing something

Website only; no change to the app.

• The screenshot at the top of this site showed Aliasr with no rules added. Thirteen files were listed, every new name was identical to the old one, and Apply was greyed out: a picture of the app before you have asked it for anything. It has been replaced by the one that was further down the page: a Find & Replace rule turning IMG_2026 into Coast Ridge, the changed characters picked out in every new name, and Apply 6 ready. The empty window is no longer on the page at all: the same window was being shown twice.
• The mark beside the Aliasr name was not Aliasr’s icon. The tile in the header and beside the title was a flat periwinkle, while the browser-tab icon on the same page, the icon in your Dock and the card on twoplus11.com are all deep violet running into periwinkle. The header, the title and the legal pages now draw the icon itself.

1.2.0 · August 22, 2026 · Fix conflicts, find conflicts, and a list you can walk

• New: Fix conflicts. Aliasr has always caught a clash and refused to rename into it. What it never did was help: with forty files landing on one name, resolving them meant forty hand-edits, so the usual move was to abandon the rule and try a different one. There is now a Fix conflicts button beside the count that reports the problem: it numbers the clashing names apart the way Finder does (shot.jpg, shot 2.jpg, shot 3.jpg) and stops. Nothing is renamed. The new names land in the preview as ordinary hand-edited names, so they go through exactly the same collision and validity checks as anything else, each row can be edited or reverted on its own, and Clear every hand-edited name undoes the lot.
• New: it will not take a name off a file it isn’t renaming. Anything on disk that is not in the batch is left alone and numbered around, as is any row that is staying put, and when one file in a clash is already called what the clash is over, that file keeps its name and the newcomers move aside, rather than the one file that was already right being shuffled out of the way.
• New: Only problems, a second filter next to the text one, narrowing the list to the rows actually blocking Apply. Four hundred files with six clashes used to mean the count in the bar was the only thing that knew where they were. ⇧⌘F, or the button. It composes with the text filter (narrow to a folder, then to that folder’s clashes) and it turns itself off when the last problem is gone rather than leaving you looking at an empty table.
• New: the file list can be walked with the keyboard. ↑ ↓ move between files, Home / End jump to the ends, and the arrows skip rows the filter is hiding.
• Changed: the list is one Tab stop, not one per file. Every row was individually tabbable, so a folder of four hundred camera files put four hundred Tab presses between the filter box and the Apply button, which made the window effectively unusable from the keyboard, and unusable with a screen reader for the same reason. Tab now enters the list once and the arrows move inside it.
• Fixed: a rename could be shown as safe and then refused. If a file’s new name landed on another file in the batch that was not going to move (because that one’s own name was invalid, or because it was caught in a clash of its own), the row previewed green and pressing Apply renamed nothing and reported “a file named … already exists”. No file was ever at risk; the check that refuses the batch has always been independent of the preview and it did its job. But the preview said one thing and Apply did another, which is the one thing a preview exists not to do. Those rows are now flagged where you can see them, along the whole chain.
• Fixed: keyboard focus was thrown out of the list by the live preview. Arrow down a list while a rule was still settling and focus went nowhere, so the next arrow did nothing. It stays on the row you were on.
• Fixed: dismissing the license window deleted a stored key. Continue with personal use (and Esc, which does the same thing) removed whatever key was on this Mac. On a first run there is nothing to remove, so it looked harmless; for a customer whose key had failed to validate once (a server hiccup, a seat limit, no connection) it silently destroyed their only copy. Dropping to personal use is the explicit Remove Business License button’s job, and that one asks first.

1.1.0 · August 20, 2026 · Show in Finder, folder labels, and a filter that finds Café

• New: Show in Finder. A button in the file-list header (or ⌘R) opens the folder and selects the batch. The ability to do it had been built and complete since the file list existed, with nothing anywhere in the window to press, so the one thing you most want right after a rename, seeing the result on disk, meant going and finding the folder yourself.
• New: rows say which folder they are in, but only when the batch spans more than one. Turn on Include subfolders and a hundred camera files arrive from a dozen folders, all called IMG_1234.jpg; the list showed a wall of identical rows with no way to tell them apart. Each row now carries its folder under the name, labeled by the part that actually differs rather than the long shared path. It matters more than it looks: conflicts are worked out per folder, so two rows reading exactly the same thing can both be perfectly safe.
• New: a filter box above the list, for finding one file in a batch of hundreds. It only hides rows (every file in the list is still renamed) and it matches the folder as well as the name.
• Fixed: the filter couldn’t find an accented name. Typing cafe did not match Café, muller did not match Müller, lodz did not match Łódź, because lowercasing folds case and nothing else. The filter now folds accents while every row still shows exactly what the file is named.
• Fixed: files arrived in the wrong order, and the numbering followed. A dropped folder came back in codepoint order (IMG_10.jpg before IMG_2.jpg, every accented name after Zoom.jpg), and arrival order is exactly what {n} counts along, so a whole import was mis-numbered before anyone touched a sort control. Collection, the name sort and the preset lists now order naturally and accent-aware, and the new-name column follows Aliasr’s own language picker rather than the Mac’s.
• New: a name starting with a dot now says that Finder will hide it. Renaming a file to .notes is legal and occasionally what you want, so it is still allowed, but Finder hides the result and Aliasr’s own file picker skips hidden files, so the file used to simply vanish with no explanation. The row says so before you apply.
• New: a rule that cannot work now says so. A mistyped regular expression used to do nothing at all, which looks exactly like a rule that simply found no matches. Broken patterns, references to a capture group that does not exist, unknown {tokens} and illegal extensions are now named on the rule card itself.
• New: $1 works in a replacement. Other Mac renamers spell capture groups that way, so $1 was a common thing to type and it used to come out as the literal text. $1, ${1} and ${name} all work now, $$ gives you a dollar sign, and Python’s \1 still works too.
• New: a Windows-safe cleanup option, which removes only the characters Windows and USB drives actually reject and leaves accents and non-Latin scripts alone: café.txt stays café.txt. Plus Roman numerals and letters as numbering styles, alongside digits.
• Changed: the button that empties the list now says so. It was a bare × in the corner above the table, which reads as “close this” rather than “empty the list”, so it went unfound and people removed files a row at a time. It is now a labeled × Remove all in the same place. It still asks first, and it still only touches the list: nothing on disk is renamed, moved or deleted.
• Fixed: completion notifications actually appear. They were sent through a mechanism Apple retired and the failure was swallowed, so the “Renamed 12 files” notification had never once been delivered.
• Fixed: screen-reader gaps. A failure raised while a sheet, the license window or a confirm dialog was open was drawn behind it, with its Undo unreachable; an error was wiped by the next success before it could be read; every success was announced twice; and a reader was never told an Undo existed before it timed out. All four are fixed.
• Fixed: 24 tests that check the window itself had never run. The render suite and the accessibility audit (the two that open the real UI and the only ones that can see a broken layout, a missing label or a control nobody can reach) were gated so they ran only when someone launched those two files by hand. The suite reported a green 206 and skipped every one of them. They run on every pass now.
• Fixed on this website: the Download button in the mobile header drew a white label at 3.47:1 on the display accent, below the 4.5:1 the guidelines ask for. It now uses the button color the rest of the page already used, at 4.66:1.
• The company name on an activated business license was always blank. Aliasr read it from a field the licensing server stopped sending. The name is there, and it now appears. Nothing about how licenses work changed; only what the window could see.

Site update, August 19, 2026 · A checksum for the download

Website only; no change to the app.

• The download page now publishes the SHA-256 of the Renamr.dmg it serves, so you can confirm the file you got is the file we put there. macOS already runs the check that matters (Aliasr is signed with an Apple Developer ID and notarized by Apple, and a copy altered after we signed it will not open), but there was no way to check a download by hand, which is what anyone installing it on more than their own Mac tends to want. The checksum is on the download section under SHA-256 checksum, next to the one command that compares it with your copy. It is published as a plain file too, at Renamr.dmg.sha256, in the format shasum -c reads.

Site update, August 17, 2026 · The other apps, after the sign-up

Website only; no change to the app.

• The list of the other twoplus11 Mac apps has moved to the bottom of the page, below the email sign-up rather than above it. It used to arrive while the page was still making its case for Aliasr, so the last thing you read before being asked for your email was a wall of other apps. It sits at the end now: the page finishes on Aliasr, and the list is there if you want to see what else there is.

Site update, August 14, 2026 · Headlines in one color

Website only; no change to the app.

• The headline no longer fades from one color into another across the letters. A gradient poured through text is the house style of every generated landing page on the web, and it was on the hero here, on the small uppercase label above each section, and on the license label in the purchase panel. The words are one solid color now (the accent this page already used everywhere else), so the headline finally matches the page under it.
• The figures on the download-stats page were faded the same way and are plain white now. The color belongs to the bars beside them, not to the digits.
• Gradients are kept where they belong: the buttons, the app tile and the rule above the support panel are untouched. It is only text that stopped fading.
• No change to the app.

Download update, August 12, 2026 · Opens without an internet check

• The copy of Aliasr in the download now opens without needing the internet. macOS checks that an app has been approved by Apple before it runs for the first time. That approval can travel inside the app itself, and in the download it did not, so the first launch had to reach Apple to confirm it. Offline, behind a hotel or campus login page, or when Apple’s service was slow, that check could fail and macOS would report that Aliasr “cannot be opened because Apple cannot check it for malicious software.” The approval now travels with the app, so the first launch works with no connection at all.
• Automatic updates were never affected: the copy they install already carried its approval.
• The installer window opens at the right size. It was one title bar too short, so the artwork behind the drag-to-Applications arrow was cut off along the bottom and the window opened already scrolled. It now fits exactly.
• The app itself is unchanged: same version, same signature. Only the download was repackaged, so there is nothing to do if you already have Aliasr installed.

Site update, August 12, 2026 · How updating really works

• The update instructions were out of date. They described downloading a new copy and dragging it over the old one. Aliasr updates itself: it checks about once a week and offers to install the new version in place, refusing any download that isn't signed by us. You can still replace it by hand, and you can turn the automatic check off.
• Nothing else changed. What this page already said about your files (that they are never uploaded, and that there is no account and no telemetry) was accurate and is unchanged.
• No change to the app.

Site update, August 12, 2026 · Readable buttons and small print

• The buttons in the header say what they say. The Tip and Download pills were drawing their label at 55% opacity over a colored fill, which measured as low as 1.6:1 against it, well under the 4.5:1 the accessibility guidelines ask for. Their labels are now solid, and the fill behind them is set a shade deeper so the text genuinely clears that bar.
• The Subscribe and Support buttons too. Their labels were colored for one end of a two-color gradient and disappeared into the other end. Both now use a single fill that the label is legible on all the way across.
• The newsletter note, the “More apps” caption and the version line under the download button were all set too faint to read comfortably; each is now above the AA threshold.
• Keyboard shortcut chips are legible against their own background.
• The screenshot viewer no longer makes every visit quietly re-download this page as if it were an image, a wasted request on each load.
• No change to the app.

Site update, August 12, 2026 · The twoplus11 logo, back to its own color

• The twoplus11 wordmark in the top-left corner is the studio’s blue again. It had been recolored to match Aliasr’s accent color, which made the same logo look like a different one on every app’s site. It now matches twoplus11.com and the rest of the apps.
• No change to the app.

Site update, August 11, 2026 · Clearer search results

• The description under this site in Google is no longer cut off. It ran past the length Google shows and broke mid-word; it now reads as a complete sentence.
• Sharing a link to the privacy, terms or changelog page now shows a proper preview card instead of a bare URL.
• The sitemap now reports when each page actually changed, so search engines re-check pages that have been updated instead of assuming they are stale.
• No change to the app.

August 11, 2026 · A new look

• Changed: Aliasr has a new app icon. Every twoplus11 app moved to one generated palette, so the color in your Dock, on this site and on the download page is now the same color. They had drifted apart.
• Changed: refreshed the site to match, including the tab icon and the link preview image.

Site update, August 10, 2026 · Screenshots retaken

• Retook both screenshots so they show a folder of sample camera files rather than a real one. Same screens: a single Find & Replace rule previewed across every file, and two rules stacked to add a date prefix. No change to the app.

1.0.1 · August 9, 2026 · Automatic updates

• New: Aliasr updates itself. When a new version is out you get a prompt with the release notes and can install it in place: no more visiting the site and dragging a new copy over the old one. This is the last update you have to install by hand.
• New: refreshed appearance. Aliasr now uses the shared twoplus11 palette and a regenerated app icon, so it matches the rest of the family.
• Fixed: contrast and keyboard-navigation problems (WCAG 2.1 AA). Faint text is now readable, and every control can be reached and used from the keyboard.
• Fixed: the Check for Updates button spins while it checks, instead of flashing an empty window.

1.0.0 · July 20, 2026 · Initial public release

First release. Batch-rename hundreds of files with a live preview, and never lose one.

• Stackable rule pipeline: Find & Replace (plain or regex), Insert, Remove, Change Case, Number/Template with {n} {name} {ext} {date} {parent} tokens, Date from EXIF or the filesystem, Clean Up (whitespace, accents, safe characters), and Extension rules, in any order, each card with its own live before → after example.
• Live Current → New preview: changed characters highlighted, conflicts show exactly which rows collide, and any single name can be hand-overridden inline (still conflict-checked). Include-subfolders mode, per-folder numbering restart, and presets for whole rule stacks.
• Safe by design: case-insensitive + Unicode-normalized conflict detection (APFS-safe) refuses collisions before anything is touched; renames run in two phases through temporary names so swaps and chains never lose a file; every batch is undoable (⌘Z) with an on-disk undo log; and a write-ahead crash-recovery journal makes even a power loss mid-batch recoverable on the next launch.
• Private by design: 100% local, no account, no usage analytics. Nothing ever leaves your Mac.
• Light + dark mode, full keyboard support, WCAG 2.1 AA.
• Signed and notarized by Apple. macOS 14+, Apple Silicon & Intel.
• Free for personal use forever, including updates; commercial use requires a one-time $5-per-computer business license.
