Privacy Policy
- Pulsr measures your Mac entirely on your Mac. Nothing about your system, your apps, or your activity ever leaves your computer.
- No usage analytics, no accounts. Monitoring never touches the network, and nothing is ever recorded to a server.
- Pulsr contacts our servers on its own in exactly one case: when it checks for updates (which we count; see “Update checks” below). There is no license to activate and no key to validate, so that is the only call it ever makes by itself. The Help and Review buttons open a twoplus11.com page in your browser when you tap them (see “Help and Review” below). Your system readings are never involved in any of it.
1. Who We Are
Pulsr is made by twoplus11 LLC, a Missouri limited liability company (twoplus11.com). When this policy says "we," "us," or "our," it means twoplus11 LLC.

2. Data We Do Not Collect
Pulsr is built to be completely private:
- Your system readings are yours. CPU, memory, network, disk and battery figures (and the list of which apps are using what) are read locally on your Mac and displayed to you. None of it is uploaded to us or anyone else, and none of it is written to a server, ever.
- No history is stored off your machine. The sparklines are a short rolling window kept in memory while Pulsr is running. There is no history database and nothing is synced.
- Monitoring is completely offline. The measurement engine never needs the internet. The only request Pulsr makes on its own is the update check, and that request carries only the app version and your IP address, never anything about your system or the apps you run. (Tapping Help or Review opens a page in your browser; see section 3.)
- No usage analytics. The app does not report how you use it or track what you do with your Mac. The only request it makes on its own is a check for a new version, and you can turn it off in Settings.
- No accounts, ever. Pulsr needs no sign-up and no key, at home or at work. There is nothing to register and nothing to activate.
3. Data We Do Collect
Tips. Pulsr is free, so the only thing this site can take payment for is a voluntary tip. If you leave one, payment is processed by Stripe: your card details go straight to Stripe, and we never see or store them. We receive the name and email address Stripe passes on, and we use them for one thing, to say thank you. The app itself is not involved: tipping happens on this website, and a tip changes nothing about Pulsr.
Update checks. Pulsr checks whether a newer version exists: automatically about once a week, and whenever you check manually. You can switch the automatic check off. The request goes to api.twoplus11.com and identifies the app and the version you are running; like any web request, it also carries your IP address. It says nothing about you, your Mac, or your files.
Help and Review. The Help and Review buttons at the bottom of the window open a page on twoplus11.com in your browser. The address carries the app version and your macOS version, so the form arrives already knowing which build to ask about. You can see the whole address in your browser's address bar before the page loads. Like any page you visit, our web server records the request, including your IP address and browser user-agent. Nothing is sent unless you tap one of those buttons.
What we record when it checks. We log each check, so that we can tell roughly how many people still use the app: which app it was, the version reported, the date, the user-agent string, and a salted hash of your IP address (never the address itself, and the salt changes every day). Nothing in that record is tied to your name, an account, or a license. If you go on to install the update, that download is counted the same way.
4. If You Contact Us
If you email us (for support or a question about the app), we receive your email address and whatever you choose to put in your message. We use that information only to reply to you. We do not sell or share it.
5. Downloading the App
Pulsr is downloaded from our website, which is hosted by a third-party web host. Like any website, the host may keep standard server access logs (such as IP address) for security and operational purposes. This happens at the web-server level when you visit the download page. The Pulsr application itself sends nothing to the web host.
6. Children's Privacy
Pulsr is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
7. Your Rights
If you are in the European Union, United Kingdom, or California, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you. The only personal data we hold is what you send us by email and, if you have ever paid us anything, the name and email address tied to that payment. You can exercise these rights by contacting jeremy@twoplus11.com. We will respond within 30 days.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the "Effective date" at the top of this page when we do. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
